Based on Stace's ADR docs in the other thread, how could holding a dB meter 50cm behind a car at an angle while the car is stationary possibly cost $1000?

I think what Silver Opal is thinking off is actually the IM240 test which involves an emmissions test on a dyno etc. A simple db test used to be done at the pits for no extra cost and as far as I know that has not changed.

hmmmmmmmm big FAIL!!!! How does a $10 000 fine sound

Doesnt have a catalytic converter so it didnt quite pass

Back on our merry way to subaru yay they are sorting it out and we avoided the fine. Apart from that the car is in mint condition.

Make sure they put a new aftermarket cat in and not replace the
whole thing with a STD system.

You paid the price you did for the car because it included an
aftermarket cannon exhaust so don't let them rip you off and
demand they pay for your pit fees and petrol with all this running
around.

Get a lawyer involved if they refuse, you might be able to make some
coin haha.

Better yet contact Today tonight as they love this shit, Subaru Oz will
have a fit!!!

I'd just leave the car with them, and get the dealership to take it over the pits.
