I know this doesnt mean much but those birds are actually fairly expensive and very smart birds too, you'd consider a bird like that being a friend more than a pet and if he reckons he loves the bird, i'd hate to be his child and have affection shown.. would cop a plank with a nail for a good on ya slap on the back.

There was an interview with the owner on tv this morning and what an absolute drop kick. He looks like a stereotypical red neck, 1 tooth on the top row, half dozen on the bottom. Ring dinga ding ding ding ding diiiiiiiiiiing.

It all looks over dramatised to me.
The guy may well be a tool for doing it but the bird doesn't seem in any real danger and it doesn't look like it's tied to the car.

On ACA you say...Well that explains it.

Stuff like this should be ill-eagle.
The guy should have at least given the little fella a parrot-chute.
If it fell off, he would have to give it some parrot-cetamol.
