In other news, if you need an OEM 3rd brake light to borrow for a fortnight to get the licky off, let me know
thanks for that mate im going to start getting it sorted today and ill let you know if park light is needed much appreciated mate

As above, make sure the pod is secure, the exhaust is not stupidly loud and the car is over 100mm at the lowest point fully loaded.

Do that, rock up, ask to get an inspection and permits for the mods.

This can be a dangerous play with a stickered car, as 'dependent on the inspector', they might just hand you a document to outline all associated mods and have it submitted.

From what I've heard this takes a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time to issue.

Have not heard this for 'normal' mods.

Rock up with a lumpy cam, roll cage and harnesses and you might have an issue. A pod filter and an exhaust should not be an issue.

They will ask you to get a noise(db) reading done to certify that it is below the legal limit. Get that tested and if it is below the limit, then keep the exhaust on and show them the certificate with your db reading. Though, not sure if they want you to test the co2 from the exhaust.
