Default What is the go with "Keep Left unless overtaking"

It Seems that everbody who goes slow always want to stay in the right hand lane. I thought that was illegal in WA. It is in other states.

The rule only applies to Freeways I'm sure.
In other words, people are entitled to be in the right hand lane on your normal streets, doing the speed limit.

Its illegal.
Problem is that its easier to get you for speeding than to get you for cruising in the right lane 10 below.

So hwy like the Tonkin, Roe.... it is ok for the slow to stay in the right hand lane and hold up traffic. It just amazes me. It can be so frastrating.

I think doing 20km/h or under the speed limit on highways (any lane) is illegal. Can't remember where I read it. Keep in mind that some people's speedos under-read so they could be sitting in the right lane doing 70-75km/h thinking that they're doing the 80km/h limit. Also on highways there are right side exits and slip lanes, so it ends up dangerous if every cunt is trying to cut across 2-3 lanes to suddenly get over to the right.

Just be patient. If someone is doing 15-20 under in the right hand lane, get on the horn. If it's 5-10km then suck it up. It happens.

No the problem is when you move out to pass someone in the left lane and you have someone just sitting in the right lane so you can't get around them. I feel if you pass some one move over to the left and let the others behind you through.

Blame the speed kills advertisements.

There are plenty of people who post up to news blogs saying how they deliberately sit 10kmh under the limit in the right hand lane to save lives.

Unfortunately a camera can't fine these people (yet).
