Default Yellow sticker:(

got pulled over today for a random vehicle inspection and what you know they stickered mt for having no third break light:/ is that even an excuse lol?

not only that but they only gave me just over a week to get it fixed (which wont take much for the break light) but i got to make it all stock again to make it pass the other muppets at the pits lol

anyone recommend any cheap places to swap few thing over in the engine bay such as pod filter, induction kit and also exhaust

Yes they can sticker you for what ever they want. A week is my to bad. Swap basic stuff over by your self then goto the pits, get them to check it over and write you a list of what needs to be done.fix what's on the list, go back and hopefully they will take the sticker off. Any work shop can swap all those things over. 3rd brake light is very easy to install if needed

All cars under a certain age MUST have a third brake light, you can buy them at places like Supercheap and there are probably wires already under your parcel shelf (in the boot) or look for the original plug that went to your old boot spoiler and run it off there, make sure the pod filter is secured and it's legal, find a standard exhaust and swap it with yours if it's too noisy or got no cat and like above take it over and fix the list they give you.

as above, its a legal requirement, although for some reason it doesn't apply to new utes? if you've ever followed behind someone, say a Subaru with its lights on during the day, you'll notice its very hard to see their brake lights. Quite dangerous, omg ban etc.

In other news, if you need an OEM 3rd brake light to borrow for a fortnight to get the licky off, let me know

I just aquired a piece of solid, 15mm wide piece of metal, cut it down, bent it up in a vice and painted it. Secured it to the pod and to the engine bay. Passed.
