I HAD a pod yeah, if you get a piece of light weight aluminum, you'll find bending it alot easier then a rigid piece of steel. Id suggest go to bunnings (polarbear spec), find a piece of aluminum 15mm wide, 3-5mm thick half a meter long (doesnt really matter). You dont even need a tape measure, just eye off the angles you need and just a few tech screws to secure it (i got nice flash ones too look nice). But in reality, if its an in enginebay pod, its sucking in useless hot air anyway. Better off with a inguard ram intake or the like.

Better off with the standard air box and a HKS panel filter sucking from the inner guard.
Champ and squid like this.

I've got it in both of mine, one for 7yrs and never been a problem, the other has a permit for a pod but I put a stock box back in, much better as long as you leave all the other crap going to it off.......... & it keeps Mr Plod happier too.

How did you end up going with getting that permit for your exhaust mate? I'm in the same boat at the moment. Just chasing some advise on how you went? Cheers

sorry it took a while to get back to you mate, but i did end up getting the licky off but because i work away the pits were booked out so i had to end up going to a private mechanic to get my licky off and unfortunately he doesnt give out permits only the pits are able to do that, so i only got my licky removed by him , but i put a silencer into my exhaust and even over the pits prior to taking it to the mechanic they said nothing about the noise and how loud it was so i assue that would be good enough to get a permit

I had a laugh today. Someone must have really annoyed a police officer. There was a Ferrari 599 (I think?) in black with the number plates Prancer. And there on the windscreen looked like a yellow sticker. It was parked in Freo.

What on earth do you get a sticker on a 599 for? Too much noise when generating the best part of 600hp?...
