Pretty fuckin stupid doing those speeds especially when the fuzz obviously knew a cruise was in town.... so of course they are going to set up a camera...derrr
And especially when participants were told to stick to the limits and drive safely.

Reminds me of when I was young. Me and another guy from tech both had just got our first cars and also lived in the same area. So every morning and evening to and from was a race. One time we both got flashed at exactly the same time doing near instant recklass driving territory (before hoon laws). Only i was going faster haha and my fine was bigger. Not sure if that counts as winning though.

F♡CK YOU DRIVESHAFT SHOP!!!!!

God damn piece of sh1t 800hp shafts dont fit. They are about 25-30mm too long. The thread/splines on the the CV stub that go into the hub/bearing are too long so that the nut cant get dented on the shaft to stop unwinding. The diff side CV stub wont lock in place. (It is going in deep enough, i have measure with verniers.) The things are a POS. And worst but is i bought them on last years Black Friday sale from Rally Sport, so im gonna have a sh1t fight on my hands trying to get some sort of solutions.

Hub side CV stub too long. It fits in fine, but the nut winds so far down the extra long threads that the axle nut cannot be punched to lock it in place.

This shows the DSS shaft in the hub/bearing. The nut is only fingie tight and already it is a far way past the notch in the end of the shaft. Yes im using the supplied axle nut.

This shows the OEM STi R180 next to the DSS shaft. Both shafts have thier CVs fully compressed inwards. As you can see there is a good 30mm too much shaft on the DSS. Ive tried to fir it in place, but it is way too long. I cannot bolt the knuckle in no matter how hard i try.

Close up of above photo.

This shows the approx amount it sticks out at full compression.

This is the part numbers attached to each shaft.
Ive looked it up and it always cross refferences back to the GD STi R180 800hp rear shafts.

Arse holes.

Bought from rally sport direct last year. (About 4 months ago.) They are a USA shop. But the shafts have a 1 yr warranty. So they are still under warranty. I only found this all out now, and have promptly fired off the emails to get the ball rolling. No reply because 2AM easter sunday over there now. Im hoping they can identify what they came from. Then send me the correct parts i paid alot of money for. If we know what they are from, it might be easier to sell them in AU. As frieght to US os like 1/4 of the purchase price each way. So it would be stupid to send them round the world twice, and not get anything for it.
