the general stupidity on the roads the last day or so (way worse than usual)

Is it just my imagination, or has it got a whole lot worse since the double demerits kicked in?

oh, I wasn't just referring to speed (but you are right about that point). Seems people are being overly cautious to the point of nearly causing accidents....or just plain stupid.... either way, in a way, I am glad I fly back to work for the bulk of the double demerits period. Not worth the frustration.

It's so frustrating. People don't understand that you don't get demerit points unless you are caught 10 or more over the limit anyway. So driving 10 under the limit is just plain pointless, and doing it on the right hand lane while people want to get past is just plain dumb. Le sigh.
