This is why I have not bothered to get a permit for myself - people are just so narrow minded. If they can't see the disability it doesn't exist.
I have RA and somedays walking is really really hard work. Walking from the closest spot available to the door at work is a bloody long way somedays it would be easier to be that close so I'm not worn out by the time I start work!

I'm legally blind and use a white cane in busy places I.e train stations. I cop so much shit for sitting in Priority on the trains from lazy arse people who don't even have disabilities, pregnant or elderly. One guy verbally abused me and stood over me the whole 15 minute trip from Cockburn Central to Esplanade and no one did a thing! I also get over people piling into the accessibility lifts at the train stations during peak hour, I'm not using the lift because I'm lazy I use it because it's dangerous for me to try to use crowded stairs and escalators what's everyone else's excuse? Really boils my blood most days.

I fly over to there private training college in sydney every month, they use the same training over there as they use worldwide and dad used to work for VW head office in the UK and so he's told me about it.. Plus I've had some friends do it independently and say the opposite :P
