I have a carbon fiber bonnet which I bought a while ago which fitted my old car ('00 impreza). Will this fit all GC8s? Or only particular models, such as 98-00.

98-00 or earlier if you change the grill too

it's illegal to have your scoop reversed.
and it is a stupid idea to have your scoop reversed if you have a TMIC.

the idea of a reverse scoop is to let out hot air from the engine bay. If you have a FMIC, then the a reverse scoop is no problem (performance wise). If you have a TMIC, it will obviously get no air to it! in fact, it will likely have hot air go from the engine bay through the TMIC and out... making performance worse.
