hey guys,

just splashed out and bought a STI style polyurethane front lip off Ultrex for MY05 peanut.

Ive heard people say that they have used screws to fix it on.

so what is best? Nuts and bolts or Screws? I dont reall want it falling off :/

I don't have the same era car, but when I affixed a pu lip to my 08 wrx, I used nuts, washers (on both nut and bolt side) & bolts.

I even drilled out 2 or 3 more holes that were in the lip just to pull it up as far as possible to minimise any gap.

double side the washers!! as in one on the side with the bolt and one at the end with the nut
take it from experience haha

and even go and get same hole size but bigger washers otherwise they pull through the holes in the bumper and lip, and u dnt want to loose it

Yes, Listen to Karina. Extra big washers or else your lip will come flying off when you go rallying like a certain someone ;]

Is there must difference in appearance to the fiber glass one?

im not sure, i havent received it yet... i chose the Polyrethane one because i want it to 'last and last' like it says on Ultrex... I can imagine the front lip could have a hard life. gota watch out for those curbs.
