So without having to read this whole thread as I do not have time, can someone give me a run down on quality products I need to buy to clean the Merc.
I won't be polishing as I do not have time, someone will be paid to do that. Just looking for basic quality products. Should I just go down to the local and buy Meguiars?

I've been using Meguiars since 2005, and still use it today. Does the job nicely. |

If you are looking for quality products and based on the type of car, I would recommend looking at brands like Nanolex, Gyeon, Dodo Juice, Swissvax and 1Z.
Dri Wash N Guard is another, if you want a product that's quick/easy and will clean & protect your whole car. What kind of product are you looking for? shampoo/wax/wheel cleaner? |

+1 for Gyeon and Dodo Juice. They're both my mainstays along with AngelPolish polishes.

I've been using auto glym shampoo and polish, and have been happy with the results. Used nanolex on the car when I got it, and it's helped plenty in keeping it looking good.
The meguiars clay bar worked well for me, and the carnauba wax they do is nice too. I've used menzerna polishes before, but was extremely unhappy with the results. Had to fix it with turtle wax of all things (was all I had spare, and felt too embarrassed to drive the car looking like it was). Sent from my LG-D802T |

Dodo juice, zaino, sonax and autoglym r my pick, far better than than the stuff from local stores.
As for where to buy, cleanyourcar.com.uk i4detailing.com and amazon uk r the ones to go. using the Perth-WRX mobile app

Alternatively, local business - waxit.com.au | carcareproducts.com.au (spent a small fortune with them, but every time I order my order is packed and shipped within a couple of hours).
