I have had a look around and cant find anything

Are you able to put 2003+ STI seats into a GC8

What I want to know is - is there much worked needed to get the front & rear seats in and will they fit. I have also read there are airbags in some of the seats as the GC8 doesnt have airbags in the seats I wont be connecting them will this be a problem.

i believe rossco has 05 seats in his version 6 STi, as far as i know he didn't run into any issues

Only 06+ WRX of the GD's had airbags if I remember correctly.

Rest will bolt up.

Bolt in fit. But if you are tall you will be screwed....

The drivers seat is 30mm higher on it's lowest setting compared to the stock Gc seats.


Rear is bolt in too.

P.s sell airbagged seats (they weigh a ton!!) & buy lighter non-airbagged ones

I dont have the seats yet I am just looking to buy some and wanted to know how hard it is to put them in and if I needed to do anything

Think I will get some 05 seats

my friend had a gc8 and he had 05 seats in them with the standard rails and they bolted up fine.
