Default Tyre sizes

I got my new rims & tyres,I thought that with a little time on my hands that I would measure the tyres.
The new tyres are 235-40x18" 640mm across and about 2050mm around.
The old tyres are 225-45 x17 620mm across and about 1980mm around
How much would change the speedo

Who cares? Buy a GPS with speedo function and use that.

That site doesn't seem to show the difference in speedo, I've always used this one, give it a try mate: http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp

+ 1.2mph/1.92kph difference for the size you mentioned
