They look awesome on his car. You can run the 18 x 9.5 +38 Rota's but you will be pushing it on your lowered car as it will chop the guards. It can be made to fit, but it will be a more costly and painful experience. The 18 x 9.0 +35's will fit with just a simple guard roll and a little bit of camber adjustment, then you need to work out what width tyre you are going to run. On a 9.0 Rim, 235/245 35 R18 should do
+1 to this.. going more aggressive than 9" +35 and you'll need to run a fair bit of camber and won't be able to go that low without removing the plastic liners and/or doing guard work.

Running crazy stretch on a wide rim is also shit.

EVO IX vs. Fake Wheels = One FREAKED up CAR. Real vs Fake Wheels debate #2. - JDM Chicago-Japanese Car Community

Not too sure if you've seen this? At the end of the day this could have just been an isolated freak accident. But for peace of mind, personally I'd fork out a bit of extra money and go for a reputable brand.

An interesting video released by Wedsport awhile ago testing a genuine and replica rim.

Without reading too much of that thread, first thing I noticed was the missing lug nut off the rim and that the other lug nuts were not centered in the holes. Hard to blame the rim when it hasn't been installed correctly.

Also I disagree with the poster saying the parked car had hardly any damage when the front of that evo was pretty farked up.

Anyways, they are $950 for a set of 4 rims. I'd rather pay $2k and get a proper brand name like Works.

This is why i went for 8.5 +43, can dump easily, not as much camber needed, only needed to roll the rear guards, still looks pretty good.
