Been wanting to do this for the longest time. No excuses now as it looks too easy with the PlastiDip method. Cheers for the video!!

its pretty big on ozfoz for updating to black stereo surround/centre console on the sg9 xt's, i will be doing my cluster surround & stereo/gearshift surround on my 32 when i get round to it

never seen it used on the exterior though, i guess if it gets scratched, peel off & redo it

Yanks have been using it for a while of NASIOC, one dude even painted his whole car in it. Keeps the colour for a few months then peels off and tries a different colour...nice idea!

hey guys update with that plastidip stuff, i watched the video and applied the plastidip to the chrome window trim as instructed. It was all going very well, i was surprised how well the finish was even though im a rookie sprayer, did about 4 coats 15 mins apart. When it came time to peel it back however i ran into a few issues. Because the chrome trim doesnt have much of a gap between it and the rubber window seal, i was unable to peal the excess plastidip off without lifting the part covering the chrome trim.

Unfortunately i dont think it will work properly with the 2011 chrome trim, but will try to think of another way...

Hmm, wonder what the cost would be to do a whole car in this...
