Default Washing your car

I live in an apartment and so don't have anywhere to wash my car at home. I don't really want to pay $15 - $30 to wash at a car wash every time... Any suggestions??

Have a spot you can park your car? Wash it there?

Get old mate to do it with your Windows at the lights. Might take a couple of passes though

Stop at Sir James Mitchell park in South Perth (where the boatshed/sail boat is) with wash bucket, free stinking water from the Swan...might even catch a few jellys in the bucket for easy polishing...
or Mill point road under the bridge...best spots I could think of where you can wash for free!

or ask your tuner for their 'wash and dry special tune' hahaha

on a more serious note> Just go to the self wash spots...there's one in Doubleview on Scarb beach road and one in Melville just after canning bridge (and plenty around other major suburbs) ...will cost you like 8-10 buks

or call on a mate with a house!

Yeah I've been doing that rj but you're not supposed to bring your own bucket to those ones, your supposed to use their own dirty bristles etc

Check the rules... some appartment blocks they're anal about washing cars, others have it in the rules but let you do it quietly.

Maybe you can do it if you don't spill water into someone elses bay...

Maybe drive to one of those self wash places, wash it there, then drive back to your appartment and do the rest there(wax/polish) ...safest option.

Have you seen any other people washing their cars in the car park, usually is a good indication of how it would be seen

You can use your own sponge through & avoid the sandy carwash brushes...... no need for a bucket.

Use the pre-soak (that's what actually does the cleaning) to wet the car first - sponge over whilst wet - rinse - wax (if you want) - Spot free rinse - freeway run for a blow dry........ costs $6 at the Scarborough selfserve car wash if you don't fuck about.

Ah crap, I didn't know you couldn't bring your own stuff...that sucks...those bristles will scratch your car...

here's a deal > I let you come past mine to wash your car if you wash mine too!(or help) Deal? haha

Edit: Agree with Rossco, use Scarbs/Doubleview self serve all the time for my wheels cost me 2 buks...and I have seen some people use their sponges too now that I think about it...I think they just don't like people taking too long with their own products there... If I was you I'd do the wash and rinse there, then drive home for freeway blow dry then waxing
or above deal hahaha
