Default Cheap Tinting!

Hey guys & girls,

Just a quick post to recommend a guy that did my tint for me! If anyone wants tinting try;

Julian Forby
pH: 0423202109

He tinted my car (4 windows + rear) for just $220 including removal of my old tint! He did a great job and is a mobile tinter and also provides a warranty! He does houses as well!

Called Stealth 20%, Just one shade illegal, comes with 10 year warranty! He has darker if you wish but the shade is up to you, he does not charge extra if you want the darker tint!

I would want to ensure it was 'legal' first

I thought 18% was the legal cut off?

I was actually referring to how much light passes through the tint. Not the reflectance of the tint.
So if 18% was the cut off then 20% would still be legal.
Not that it matters, because I now know I was completely wrong in the first place. The legal limit is 35% for light transmittance.
20% is the legal limit for the reflectance of the tint.

Something interesting in that document...

"Installers who ignore this advice may find themselves in a position where they may need to bear the costs of replacing non-conforming film despite any waivers that may have been signed by customers."
