It's dark, but you can still see through it in the sun! I would recommend it over the legal 1 though because it's unlikely you'll be picked up with it just 1 shade darker and it stops the heat more!

Does he have legal 35%?

He carries the following tints:
5% - very dark / privacy
20% - 'stealth'
35% - street legal

I did read once that the rear windows could be tinted more, does anyone have a link to that?

cant you also have the rear door windows darker than legal aswell

I have noticed on a few production cars that the rear door windows are darker than the front I think that call it privacy windows.

I was told that if it comes factory standard, it's legal - but otherwise no.
But to me, that just makes no sense.

35% is legall one under that is 28%

I was under the impression the 2 back windows can be however dark u want ?

It's the front 2 that have to be legal so u can see out of them clearly while ur driving etc .. ie: looking left and right ? ?

Giddyup was saying that ALL windows had to be minimum 35%. So this doesnt answer how factory privacy glass is ADR compliant.

Yep 35% all the way around. They're having ongoing disputes with manufacturers now bringing out 'privacy' glass yet aftermarket tinters cant do the same..

Had 5% on the rear windows of my tx3 with 35% fronts and still got done. It was an old rumour thats been ongoing.. definitely not the case.
