Default Wheels for Version 6

Hey guys

Thinking of getting some 18x8.5 Lenso wheels for my Version 6.

I don't want them sticking outta the guards and prefer not to roll the guards either.

Can you guys recommend the best offset I should be getting and if anyone has a pic on how that size rim would look on a V5 or V6 that would be great.

Am I better off getting 7.5 or 8 width inch rims instead ?

8.5 wide will definintly need to be rolled.

I have 18x8.5+35 with 215/35r18 with coilovers, 2.5 deg camber all around and all the guards rolled.

hope this helps a bit

Cheers for the pic.

Nice plates. I ordered STI 387 a few weeks ago. Just waiting for them to come in

Enkei RPF1 in 17x8 or 17x7.5 with +45 offset will fit and look better....or something along the lines of a Compomotive MO or Rays TE37...

My opinion is that they look a bit big for a GC8...but it's your car...

I've just got an email from the person selling them saying that a 18x8.5 with +42 off set won't stick out the guards or require rolling the guards.

Can someone confirm this ?

Also he suggested I run 215/35R18

it will rub like a whore.

18x8 with a 225/40 is the money shot, 215 in my opinion is too small a tyre

but hey, wheels are a personal thing. I feel 18" is perfect, if you like the wheel, have a go - if it doesnt work for you, sell it and try again
