I dont think you should be skipping TAFE to try and fix your headlights. It sounds like you could use all the education you can get...

I was not skipping Tafe, I was ahead in my unit so I was given permission to bring my own project from home, which happened to be my headlight, and I'm quietly confident I'll be able to get it back together and looking half decent, I've sanded the outside back, ang got rid of all the cracks, now to dry it off completely and then I will know for sure what it looks like

Just done a coat of clear, also I didn't do it lying flat, I had it sitting up, I will post pictures when I get home again.
