Its a new std Black 07 sedan wrx from Sydney.

Which dealer has the Tuned by STI, also what colour is it and how much they asking?

I know there is a blue one available but they want 50k, which if i was going to spend that much i could get a decent 06 STI or EVO for that price.

Cheers for the address.

Ive decided against an EVO 9 as I took one for a test yesterday
and the performance and handling is good but just cant stand the
budget interior and crappy steering wheel.

Just not my style, so it will have to be STI if I can find a decent
one for the price

This is what I am currently looking into. From NSW to WA it's around $800 and cheaper if your going from WA to NSW. Vehicle can be packed with luggage or anything else non dangerous or illegal eg. rims etc. Just need transport insurance.

Does anyone know whether the previous owner in NSW will get a refund for the remaining rego if it's de-rego and re-rego-ed here in WA before the rego expires?

The owner will have to deregister the car in the state its licenced in. You will then be required to get a 'Movement' Permit and get the car licenced here. AFAIK If the car arrives and it has NSW plates on and you're the 'new' owner, it will be classed as unlicenced.

Damn, The policy for transporting a car from NSW to WA via The Indian Pacific requires the vehicle to be licenced. Looks like I have to use one of those transport companies.
