This is true, but thats when you have to get insurance to put the car right then cop it on the chin and trade it in to a dealership

Dont know if its True or not but if you start you car with your seatbelt undone and your door open then get in and buckle up and shut the door and drive. When you undo your seatbelt and open your door after you stop the anti-hijack will not kick in. Havnt tried it as yet but remember reading about it.

There's definitely a way to disable it. 2 years ago there was a thread on how to disable and enable all the features of the Brant keypad. But was removed by moderators. Do a google search, I'm sure it's still available out in the web somewhere. I use to know it all, before I changed to a better alarm.

That's probably because the car doesn't need a turbo timer at all.

Do a search on turbo timers. Essentially a waste of time and money.

The first part is true. You can open the door and start the car and it'll sit there for as long as you are prepared to leave it. But as soon as you get in, put on your seatbelt and close the door the anti-hijack will arm.
