my car is auto so i dont mind the g/f driving it but i also dont really tell her how to drive just leave it up to her to decide when shes comfortable to over take etc. we took turns driving to and from Kalgoorlie last month ( not in the rex but in the co. car )and the times she drove were fine, over took road trains and all but only when she felt she could do it other wise she just sat back and waited.

its all about attitude and confidence i reckon

all depends on the girl that you let drive really. one of my ex's drove pretty damn well when i let her drive my car. only prob she had was she hated balancing the car when u had to wait on a hill behind traffic or at a set of lights.
haha thats true.. i found a solution for that.. one day when my GF was nagging me to drive my phoon, i took her for a drive in the rain, got on the freeway up to 110kph, then dropped back to 4th and planted it and went sideways all over the shop (my private freeway with no other traffic BTW)... scared the fook outta her, now she hardly wants to drive it and full miss daisy's it when she is desig driver hahaha

Tell me about it. How silly must you be to run the gauge needle past 'E'?

Its funny im not scared by my gf driving.... cos she's never goin to drive my car unless she has to lol and i figure if shes drivin her 1.4 barina you cant do to much damage in that. im actually more scared by one of the guys who drives at work.... he thinks the best way to drive is the "shuffle the hands around the steerin wheel" method and drives it flat out in traffic, then stops within an inch of every single person he pulls up behind. i dont fear for my life with many drivers he's one... needless to say i now suggest i drive and what do ya know... he likes bein chauffered around...FTW!

my sister is a good driver.

but she is also co-ordinated, sporty type of girl, plays footy actually. - my girlfriend isn't like that and cant drive for shit.

i do prefer her to drive the wrx if i'm not using it though cause i know it will still stop fast I couldn't care less if she crashed it, its insured, as long as she were ok.

and i do all the driving - unless i cant stay awake anymore or too many beers.
