I think it will have even more presence with widebody... it will be done properly dont worry about that... full door replacement widebody panels, so it will look flush flush..

I want 555... thats all...

I hear someone on here has 555 WRC now id take that as a second option.. haha

AS for suspension parts, i never really had much experience with the car with the stock suspension bits, but yeh ill be taking it slowly to see how it all feels.. In theory what weve done should make the rear end moreso very stable in and out of corners and even the diff is alot more secure now so this will hopefully reduce the slop..

Yeah Brad Coventys move slower than the pits examiners. Our rep is a PWRX guy and usually looks after us with decent service but he's in BAli on hols so I had to go to Rudds. Couldn't get Zinc, had to paint some HT ones. Yes, they were the sway bar mounts.

Collie race day update:

Took the car out for a shakedown run with the cars new suspension setup, had minor issue before i even got there. Suspension people didnt have a clue and set up the car to rub on straight roads from the get go, very dissapointed in them as they are normally good.

Got to the Collie track and Doug and Damo (STechnic) got the up by the rear and put in a little bit of rear camber and raised the rear slightly.

On the track the car was very balanced, no hint of the rear wanting to come out from underneath me, and i found it very hard to get the rear end out and when it did on one occasion it was very predictable and powerslided out of the corner.

So far very impressed with the MSI rear subframe and lateral arms, the rear end feels very stiff and now the suspension is able to work preventing the car bouncing around.

Cant wait to get the car setup up correctly suspension wise and really start getting a feel for how the car behaves. From the vids and how i thought the car was going, there is ALOT more left in it around the collie track, i think i was doing between 52-54 sec lap times and i have been told that high 40s is going very very fast. So next time out hopefully the car is ready to go for that sort of time..

Big thanks for Doug and Damo for doing a great job in installing all of the suspension gear. Perfect work as usual.

The car performed flawlessly, except for having a fair bit of blowby at the track (did not affect engine oil levels). When i was at barbagello there was insignificant blowbly however Collie has alot more turns. We are thinking that a much bigger catch can is in order, and i am thinking of having a can for each bank and lines from both draining into the sump to hopefully correct this.

The best time i had was chasing dougie in the green machine. Hes obviously got around 200 kw atw less than me, but that is only good for the straights, the corners is where his talent shone..

Tino, fyi...

The lap record there is 46-47 seconds. Top guys like Blaise and Franz dip under the 50 second mark. 50-52 seconds were guys like Jmes & Freds times. On the videos you are doing about 54-56 second passes which is great!
