[QUOTE=trainwrex]Well my bad luck continues it seems.. Drove the car on saturday parked it for about an hr or so. Jumped back in and turned the ignition which was followed by a massive explosion, smoke was then pouring out of the engine.

Opened the bonnent to see that the back of my manifold had blown off from the welds and the bottom of the manifold had done the same..

Im unsure what has happened and why? Can anyone shed any light on it? Looks as if there was fuel trapped somewhere??

I also not sure if ill switch to a stocky cast manifold, fix this one or go with another design..

[QUOTE]

This is what happened to me at WAW when I had a little explosion...I put it down to a fuel leak. My weakest link was all of my APS intercooler piping. Being all silicon, it looked like a peeled banana throughout the whole piping.

Just one thing Tino...Check your valve in your throttle body is still straight. Mine was bent over in a 90 degree angle.
