I rekon you should whack an oil filter into the feed line to the turbo once its fixed.... i think it is more common on bigger turbo's for some reason as I have read the same story on like 5 different cars with big garretts in car mags.

Lucky its only the turbo and nothing major, But still its painfull to hear that Tino. Hope

its not something stupid like knocking the oil line to the turbo or spilling some shit whils you were painting?

No not at all matt. It was sent down to asg for the diagnosis i was thinking worse things than the turbo..

I masked everything up and the oil feed lines are all braided so very hard to disrupt/ break them..

Oil was bellowing out of the exhuast so if there was a spill then it would have hopefully dissapeared...

Either way hopefully i can get out just getting a new centre section, so as not to have to buy another turbo..

is the one in the FS section here similar to yours? couldn't buy that one? looks cheap at $500

Unfortuantely not. Mine is a GT40R roller bearing turbo whilst the one in the FS is a plain journal bearing 35 series turbo.
