Repairable you say? Perhaps with a new block and head....

Bad luck Tino!

Ouch I know... Machinest thinks that it may be repairable but won't be certain until he sees it in person. I hope so for my sake.

Tino what are your plans for the car going forward? I mean if you plan to smash high boost to get big numbers then isn't better doing it right instead of cheaper? Dont get me wrong as I have a pretty good idea on how much $$, blood sweat and tears you have invested to date.

Get the new block as listed above, get sleeves... install them, close deck and torque plate hone.

Put in Cosworth pistons, crank, rods... and full Cosworth heads.

DONE

Dave if the machinest believes it will be repairable and will be able to take the punishment then I will be inclined to go that way. The shortblock and heads r not damaged in any way. The only one bore has the chunk missing and the sleeve is still in perfect condition. Pistons aren't touched either.

My limit has been reached and is expired with this car.
