Not quite. A GX sway bar will foul on a WRX crossmember where it is scalloped for the dump pipe. Not sure if there is any issue if going WRX sway bars on a WRX crossmember though...

I'm using the NA cross member and NA sway bar currently. The sway bars are the same thickness I think just the NA one is shaped differently as the exhaust goes past it. I can't see it bring an issue using the stock one for now but will look at the whiteline catalogue tonight and get an aftermarket one.

Ramon haven't ouch much thought into it yet, but the biggest drawback to me is having a shit load of fuel coming and going and always having to remember to order more fuel.

Jme my fuel system is all stainless steel. New 3/8 hardlines will be also and all my braided lines are Teflon aviation grade so I don't think there would be a long term issue. I thought the tank was also stainless?

As for fuel supply I think 1600cc worth of injectors per cyclinder should just be enough to get the full potential of E85

Subi tanks are plastic but having said that I'm going on the prep required on some the evo 8&9 tarmac cars that ran E85 in competition. Your tank mileage nearly halves as well, which isn't great considering its most like already shithouse. :-)

Looking good though.

My understanding of E85 is that you need ~27% more fuel to get the same lambda (or AFR) as 98 octane fuel. So if you know your current max injector duty, multiply this by 1.27 and that will be your injector duty on E85.

E85 sounds interesting though, alot of the guys in the US seem to be having good results with it.

you can get e85 on tap over in the us and in a handful of selected gas stations here in australia, sadly none in western australia (yet).

the supply side of things i personally don't think its a big issue, there is always some around if you play it smart by having 20lts on standby incase the drum runs out or just have that U98 tune at a ready to go incase you get stuck for fuel. i know that if i was playing with these kind of numbers and building an engine to these specs i would insist on having good octane fuel not that crap u98.

if you can get a good price, i paid just under 2$/lt for my two drums, then its the cheapest highest ron fuel out there when you consider racing unleaded/leaded is three times the price then its a no brainer!

tHe cars never really is going to be pushed on pump fuel in any case. But track work I'd consider using e85 and drag vp109. Rather than just solely 109.
