That close to the headers its gonna melt it!
Tode it's gonna go to LF for them to make a turbo shield to protect the radiator and a bash plate to protect the turbo.

I'm going to get a reflective covering for the sump. Not sure where to get it from though. So anyone got some suggestions most appreciated. I was gonna get a reflective coating for it but forgot.

Gold leaf would work perfectly for a reflective material anyone know who supplies it?

Haha Adam it's not polished but been ceramic coated. I need to find out what temp it holds in as I thought it was going to be black which the exhaust housing is. I may actually spray a high temp chrome over the housing to bling it. Haha

Best engine setup I have ever seen on a subaru anywhere. Your turbo location and plenum and v mount intercooler is an amazing combination for quick spool etc. I don't think it could be improved upon much. Glad to see it coming together after so much heartache. The outside of your car is also WRC style and finally someone who has put in a bonnet vent that will actually improve a FMIC's performance!

Looks fantastic Tino, you must be getting pretty fkn chuffed the way it's all coming together. Absolute work of art, the attention to detail is unsurpassed in my opinion, has to be the best build I've seen on a subaru, on a level with F6F and Ramon's attention to detail with his project.

Congratulations mate.

God Simon you have been pushing that 'aeronautical' FMIC thing since ive been on this forum. I think only NASA would really care about the minute gain to be had in this instance.

Good work Tino, breathtaking build mate. Lets hope she goes for round 2 ok

ChEers lads. I'm very happy how it's turned out thus far. I think that the engine setup will be one of the most efficent engines out there for a track car. The bling is just a bonus it's still the function I really care about. Hopefully a really quick car that drives like a vf34 on a 2.0ltr that's the goal.
