Yeah, Al beat me to it, but I was thinking a breather to above sump level would be required so the pump can evacuate the oil. Think about the current set up, the pump is pulling a vacuum against the turbo, so any accumulated oil can't be drawn out because there's no flow. A breather will flow air out with the oil, that I think will be the biggest benefit.

Its already been done dougie That pic was before the breather line had been put on.

Im going to run the line to the cam cover drivers side and that will join up to the catch can system..

Al thinks that when the pump sucks all the oil it might be putting in an air lock which may cause oil to seep pass the seals.. Time will tell..

Ill be around early next week for u to chuck it on..

Recent Perth Street car mag has a VE with twin low mount turbos...Quote " Low mount turbo chargers have been plagued with oil consumption issues in the past because they can not gravity feed oil back to the engines rocker cover after shut down. The accumulated oil then enters the intake system on the next start up and black soot, detonation, and embarrassing black smoke are the end result. To avoid this, Active Automotive have installed a top shelf Weldon oil scavenge pump that sits between the two turbos, and constantly returns the circulating oil back to the rocker cover through braided lines. This pump is on a timer so that it continues to run for 40 seconds after shut down to make sure every drop of residual oil is removed ".

Already do that with the tilton pump... mine runs for 2.5mins

Just need the sump and hopefully this will sort it all out.. Im just concerned that it may sit tooo low (just had a look under the car).

Also need to modify the heat shield now that the sump is in the way.. grr..

So this is the new turbo sump dougie bathroom spec styles.. It will be mounted on the chasis underneath the radiator fans hence the shape.

Not bad effort including Russes orignal work..

No. I've been waiting for the sparky to come and fit a 3 phase outlet.
