i initally thought of that but dosent the filler need o be higher than the tank so i cant see it working.

yeh it does i just figured it would be simplier just to relocate the filer rather than trying to make where they join up to the petrol tank nice and neat..

Go a sparco fuel filler cap. They usually come with adaptor necks as well. flush fit it. At least it's legitamately purposeful and you can use the oem location.

Re: legality... Seriously Tino, look at your car, do you actually think the first thing the authorities are going to look it is the location of the fuel filler?

I'd be looking more at the track/race legalities/requirements of the filler location.

good point, its going to be one of a looooooooooooooooooooooooong list of abnormalities that come up if you ever unfortunately get yellowed.
