I like your cardboard mock ups better but that sounds like a good design and location for it.

Wots ur opinion of the scavenge pump sucking away the blow by?? as its under vacuum from the pump will this actually draw the air?? ive got a breather from the sump which goes back to the catch can..

EDIT: ive just realised that this only occured when i have the breather from the turbo sump fed back into the catch can. It never did it before.. hmmmm

so i wonder if this could be an issue??

so let me see if I've got this straight?

You are going to take a design that was created by workshop "A" as built on someone elses car and take it to workshop "B" and get them to copy. replicate dare I say steal the design for you.

No issue with anything you have done...actually I think the majority of what you have done thus far has been classy and executed well until now.... taking someone elses IP and going elswhere when you could just engage the original "designer" to fabricate and fit is just plain SHIT in my opinion.

I'm not sure it's going to make the best dry sump tank Tino.

Most dry sump tanks are tall and narrow for a reason. It might also make it pretty difficult to do an oil change?

ARE U SERIOUS SHANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please explain to me how i have taken a design and getting someone else to fabricate it.

the other persons setup has a catch can, radiator tank and overflow tank for starters...

im looking at doing a dual catch can system and a oil sump tank (which im discarding now)..

Just because ive chopped some of this persons pictures to get an idea in my head of what i would like does not mean im copying a design. If i had of hand drawn it or done it in paint then you wouldnt have batted an eyelid..

I dont have his tank in my possession nor have i seen what goes inside the tanks..

Now if your trying to tell me that combining tanks is IP.. then look at my engine bay and look at the 1000s of other engine bays that utilise a dual/multiple tank system...

Unless you want to tell all the people that build tables that its all IP or why not tell on the car companies that building cars with 4 wheels is an IP on the first person that built a motorcar...

Seriously !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Secondly, being the internet warrior that you are you would already know that workshop 'A' as you call it wouldnt and couldnt have the capacity to fabricate this or anythng for new clients in any short sort of time frame...

Whomever i choose to fabricate my stuff with my hard earned money is none of your business. I have used different workshops when i see fit to do so.

Yeh brad ive decided against doing this as the tank would only be a few litres in total and realistically it should be around 10lts to effectively work as a dry sump system..

Options are putting the tank in the boot or fitting it in the engine bay, but this is for much latter down the track and was only hoping to utlise it in this setup as fortune rather than neccessity..

Btw ill have to hit you up about sequentials shortly, this is making me very excitable.. lol
