Agreed, with a budget set in place its the only real viable option. Im going down the path of upgraded sards, used them previously with good results but if decaps work as shown and its cost effective then its a step forward nonetheless.

I agree with Luca, under 50% duty cycle with 345 on decaps for me too.

Also apparently sards are more difficult to tune than decaps with verso?

is funny how there is some evo's running high 12's with just an exhaust :p

Sard's are more difficult to tune all round....even with a MoTeC its hard to tune them.

I'm running Sard 650s and Sean told me it would be tricky to get them right. They are fantastic apart from a small stumble around 2500rpm when the car isn't fully warmed up. Every tune they seem to be getting smoother and smoother, so its really a matter of spending time tuning them.

From what I'm told, decaps are much easier to tune in that regard....easier to get it right the first time.

Didnt an 02 STi do a 12.7 with filter and exhaust?
