Take it very easy in it ....try keep it under 3500rpm....although it will be running the same boost pressure, it will be flowing significantly more air than the TD04 which is where your current AFR's will not be suitable. It will more than likely run too lean which is a big no no.

If i was to swap the OE 440's to STi 550's .. How will the car drive/idle without a tune.

Looks like i am gonna get the turbo and injectors installed .. Will it be driveable off boost from Jandakot to ASG?

It will be running super rich...the 550's on the current tune will be pushing about 25% more fuel into your engine....this could actually wash the bores meaning it could strip the oil off the bores which may cause engine damage.....others more learned may be able to give you a more definitive answer here Rich.

I would say a short trip would be ok but your talking a fairly long drive mate.

Yer .. Might be something best left for ASG to do, or get it on a flat bed there ..

For the cost of a flat bed over that distance and possible damage to your ride.....you'd be better off driving it there yourself and getting the boys at All Star to fit the injectors.

What's a flatbed worth these days for that sort of a trip?
