I believe its not so much the cooling ability, i'd say they are on par as only the tank near the firewall are larger, but it apparently gives a very noticeable throttle response increase

There was a dude on Rexnet who pieced the silicone intake around the throttle body with a temperature probe to a monitor in the cabin.

Glued it in, so you get a good seal still.

Simple and effective for checking the outlet charge temp at least.

I'm gonna be sticking with the OE STi TMIC with my 34 and see how it goes. Don't really intend on putting a FMIC on.

VF34 + STi TMIC + Waterspray is a very good combination

Adrian on these forums has a similar setup for his Legacy TT for temp sensor

Since i've decided to go the injectors as well .. Very curious to see if i can crack 200AWKW on the ASG Dyno ..

I'd say that would be right on the limit .. So maybe not.

What do you end up getting BXT?

It's quite possible. I have over 210kW with basically that setup.

Should be able to, i have 209 with similar setup also. (injecs/vf34/tmic/inlet)
