I think it goes:
Spec C top mount > STI top mount > any china / process west / ebay shit > wrx TMIC

The china ones you find on ebay and various "JDM" importers weigh a metric ton and flow no better even if they are 1.5x bigger. A nice waterspray setup will assist your OEM top mount in doing its job.

Spec C top mounts (in later models) have a chuck taken out of the end tank. Its straight above the throttle opening to stop the charge from going straight down the the guts and to use more of the core.

Cool - Didn't notice that about the spec c .. Would be interesting to do some analysis on the charge temps into the throttle body between the 2 TMIC's in the same conditions.
