I bet you a shiny penny that Bosch turn around and say they can not accept responsibility for the damage because they do not know how the car was driven or that there is evidence of vehicle abuse.

Put it down to experience and use it as an excuse for some higher spec discs.

Um No mate not really.....

Mate, you have no idea what it takes to be a good parts interpreter. Finding a part number on a PC is only 20% of what I do.

Over the phone diagnostics, analyzing smash jobs for quotation, pretty much understanding every system and they're interaction (engine, trans, ecu, body, suspension, electronics, trim, brakes etc) in any specific vehicle.

Damn you got me started! //end rant.

Cov's lost a lot of people when they changed over to orical for the inventory system, poor change over, minimal training etc. People with 20+ years just walk out the door.

Balistic: That disk looks to me (maybe just the way the photo looks?) like the pads haven't even bedded in yet. You can see some transfer of pad material to the disc surface, which is normal during the bed in. At least they're not glazed glass smooth!

The disc certainly isn't scored beyond use. That disc shows a partial bed in on re-machined discs.

Unless the person who skimmed the discs did a shit job (left them ridged trying to rush the job) I'd look at them again in another 500km to see if the surface has become more uniform. throw-away level ridging is 3+ mm usually.

That's a rear disc right? 500km to fully bed in rears, 250 for fronts.

They're the Quick Stop metallic pads so they're bound be a little agressive to the disc.

It's all good!!

I did 9 years with Cov's, the last 3 were up in Kalgoorlie doing mining contract work.....I finished in 2001 with them.

I think I've done every make over the last 16/17 years: except Ferrari, skoda & audi!!
