I sold my bug eye STI which was in pretty good nick for under $25k, with less than 100k on the clock, so finding one could be done. Not sure, but Steve (Darkmoose) on here has a white bug eye with around 80kish on the clock, he might be interested in selling... or even WRXOTIC's black one that is for sale. But as the others have said, if you can get into an 05 STi, I would be doing that... Saying that tho, my next WRX will probably be a GC8, as they are lighter..

One thing also to consider if you are planning to do a bit of track work is that the GD's are much more strongly built than the classics.

I know it hurts a lot more to bin a more expensive car but if you are not going to cage it and you have a big one it may be the difference between walking away and not.

Just spotted this on gumtree;
http://perth.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-V...AdIdZ172844897

Owner insists it is a 96 model ADM 2 door, even though there is no such thing. Either way, would love it myself if I had the funds.

Interesting find Corrie.

99 front end (bumper, crystal headlights)
99 interior (except instruments - not whte faced. What are they?)
>99 steering wheel.
<98 rims

Edit: It's hard to see, but they look like 4 pots on the front too.

Gd over gc8 they are structurally more stable even though they have a weight disadvantage.

U can always shed some punds on the gd or put in some more performace goods to get it on par with a gc8 in a straight line.
