Wrx engine?

Hi guys
I am lurker and don’t say much except reading your post and having a good time at it. I have a request, my bro lives away in the NT and wants to buy a new engine for his car and this is the picture the seller send me, can one of you tell me what engine is it and will it fit in WRX 99. Thanks and all of you have a nice HAPPY NEW YEAR
