Purely out of interest. Are the cars still covered under full factory warrenty?
What dealer warrenty are you offering if any on cars over 3 years old?

Subaru exclude any car bought at auction from warranty cover. It's written in the owners manual.

Although it's not an answer to your question, it's relevant info that may help make a decision as to where you buy a damaged car.

Personally I don't think it's a fair thing (possibly not even legal) to exclude a car's warranty based on the method of it's sale.

Did you make an offer on it? If not then you can't say its over priced.
As for the price tag stuck on it, unless its changed since I was up there, thats the price BEFORE the hail damage.

I was interested in the car but after comparing it to others same/year model it sure isnt worth 43k to me damaged.
Others have notices re price reduction due to hail. That one doesn't. Go figure.

Has to be said... they wouldn't be car yards if they didn't opt to make a profit.

So are you not going ahead with all the work you had planned for your wagon Nat?
If not Muggz car would be a good buy if you can get that price down.
