You have the upper hand as you know what they paid for it. Make an offer that suits what you think its worth to you. If they accept it then you've got a bargain. If they don't then your out nothing except a bit of time.

Either these cars are priced in Zimbabwean dollars or the Subaru OP boys have been hitting the crack pipe..

tell em their dreaming lol
unless it was 50% cheaper I personally wouldn't bother, I could never live with the dents all over it and would cost a bit to fix. not worth the hassle. |

In response:
Prices were never reduced on the Yard or the internet as AHG advised against it until Insurance Assessors (from more than one company) visited the yard. Unfortunately they were delayed due to extreme damage at some of the other yards within the group. As mentioned earlier in this thread, we were in a positon where we were able to accept "reasonable offers" on all stock (pending the outcome of our insurance assessment). Unfortunately a reasonable offer is not $30k less than the pinky price of a vehicle. I did actually manage to help out a few members on this forum who were seriously interested in accquiring a new vehicle at a discounted price. If anyone else had actually been serious about purchasing a vehicle, then as suggested, they should have made their way to the Dealership and shown a genuine interest and willingness to make a committed offer. As happens too often, we are hounded by people who aren't willing to do so and more often than not they are generally the "nay-sayers" who try to comment on something they actually know very little about. My apologies to those who missed out on some heavily discounted vehicles (after the assessment) and my congratulations to those who snagged themselves a great deal. To those who feel "hard done by", can i suggest that next time you wish to take advantage of reduced prices (that happen once in a blue moon) - Pry yourself away from behind your keyboard and actually make your way down to the Dealership instead of coming to conclusions based on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hand information. There are still some great deals to be had on remaining stock (for those who are genuinely interested). Should you require further information you know how to contact me and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Stuart |

Ahg Hail sale pricing isn't up yet and is subject to the insurance assesment.
Pricing on the site is still pre-hail damage due to this fact.
