I'm interested to know what speakers some people have fitted to their MY06 WRX. I had a set of Focal 6.5" speakers in my old car which i pulled out before selling to fit to my MY06 rex and they CLEARLY dont fit.....and i'm not sure if its even possible to fit them without door pods.
so.....what speakers do you have? and how'd you fit them?

I have an 06 WRX and i have put an alpine system. 6 1/2 in doors (needed spacers) and 5 1/4 in rear doors. Really depends on the depth of the speaker that's your only real concern

Dynaudio GT240 or Morel Elate are pretty choice but a bit exyy...

Keen to know how you go mate, as I'll be looking to put in new speakers into my my06 wrx soon

I put dynaudio system 362 in mine.

8 inch midbass. fits easily with a fair bit of modification

Focal 6.5" will fit behind standard trims in an 06.Whether they be Polyglass's or K2p's.
It just requires the right sort of angled spacer to be made.

i just ran my stock ones off an alpine 4 channel and they were mint, had subs to fill in the lack of bass produced buy 6inch splits but overall were good

PM Macey, he put Focals in my 06/07 STi in the standard door trims, no problem.
