Can anyone quickly tell me whether rac still do pre-purchase car inspections? if so do they come to you or do you have to drive into branch?

i would take the car to a proper mechanics workshop if possible, i have heard of many many cars that were RAC checked and still had dramas immediately after purchase

That wasn't a U-turn! It was two consecutive right hand turns.

I had the RAC email me a copy of what is on their check list. Really is just a pair of second eyes checking what you should be doing when you look at a car. Eg fluid levels, scratches and dings, all the electrics work, tyre and clutch condition.

If in doubt seek guidance from a Subaru mechanic, not necessarily Subaru though, think of MMS etc as well.
