yep. easy to move it around. Ive done it a few times on VF turbos.

If you are going to run a FMIC, rotate it all the way around so that it points out towards the drivers side of the car.

Just loosen off the metal band behind the coolant/oil holes & spin it around. There may be locating pins in there though. Hopefully the wastegate will twist too but you'll need to lengthen it by the looks of it.

For Warranty sake, put a thin cloth or something over the bolt when you undo it so they can't say you tampered with it.

Do it but get rid of that 2.5 and throw in a MY11 JDM SPEC C
twin scroll long motor.
