But seriously, having had a Bug STI and a replicon el fakerino GC8, the bug pisses all over it for everything but looks. Mind you, a nice front bumper will change things up and take the focus off the Chrysler Neon headlights.

My choice would be the V6 if you can find one in good cond. An upgraded V6 STI = Ball tearer. Period.

Bug STI also has its pros that the others have mentioned. Daily drive, weekend warrior with simple bolt ons and mild tweaks and from the preferences you have listed, will keep the gf smiling too. Bugs can easily be made to look aggressive (just ask some of the bug owners on here).

PS: front end styling is VERY subjective when it comes to Subaru's, in other words, if YOU like the style and the gf does too then f**k everyone else, it ain't their ride

That bug STi you showed me on carsales looks pretty good, just get Dougie or any reputable workshop to check it over for you before you hand over any cash.

Pity your olds don't want you to get a 2dr as that one in Vic would have been good!

The tyres on the black one will need replacing soon unless they are old photos, and the paint doesn't look the best on the front left corner gaurd and bumper. Also has a gay spoiler like the one the QLD floods got rid of for us.
