I like the aggressive look of the Version 6 Sti.

They are the last of the 'classic' Impreza's, AFAIK they are still the quickest stock Sti in Aus.......11 years on.

Mine has 240,000km on it & it still doesn't squeek, rattle or groan.

I get a tickle in my pants & smile every time I drive mine.

I went from the last of the GC8's (wrx though - NOT Sti... MY00), to a bug-eye Sti. I would of preferred an 05, however, in 2006 when I bought it, I couldnt afford the 05.

So sliding straight out of a GC into a GDB... The latter is a far far superior car. For all the reasons already mentioned. You've said what you want to do. Out of the 2 options you've listed, the bug eye is more of a (reliable) contender. But personally... if I had 30k (ish) in my pocket right now... (Heck, or a money roll...) I would be going straight for an Evo 9. (8MR if not), again, for the reasons you've said.

Brent.

If by minor adjustments you mean two bottles of vodka or a brick of coke then yeah I reckon I could pretty one up temporarily.
