I dont know how you are paying for it but the banks wont be real happy about securing a loan with a 6 year old car let alone a 9 year old one.
IMHO go the my11. AHG is not hard on cars. Barbagallo is horrendously hard on them. i.e. use barbs sparingly and spend more time out at AHG. Brendon

I would personally go the newer car as well.
It is always nice to have something new & with warranty.

Head vs heart as others have said, i voted for the MY11 wrx. Great for a daily and mild mods for some tracking.
This is coming from a modded 05 sti owner, lovely car, good for all things but its bumpy and noisy. Uses alot of fuel. :-)
