It's pretty easy...

Step #1: Pick up box
Step #2: Drop/throw box on it's side.

I used to do all the imports for several major wheel manufactorers and damage like this is more comman than you would think.

Basically comes down to sh*t packaging from the manufacturer.. many wheel companies actually put a polystyrene ring around the lip to protect it now.

I had 2 rims go missing during shipment last year. Insurance FTW. I have also had rims repair by Alliance. Excellent work.

+3 for alliance man. I had my 01 wrx rims welded, de-rashed and painted. excellent job.

Sweet thanks a bunch for the replies fellas, quality work is what I want over cost cause its not often I splash cash on nice rims, and this is the first set ive had shipped interstate. What a cock up this was too...

Anyway looks like Ill give Allaince a ring, spoke to the seller he reckons we might be able to get the courier to compensate... I mean look at the box FFS, its clearly their fault. They packed the wheels!

welding of cracks and repair of gutter rash on all four rims was $500, paint was extra $300 from memory. so $800 all up, the rims look brand new, couldnt even tell they were repaired. no cracks have reappeared either. if i can find the pics ill show you.

Just took them out of the boxes again, seems so much worse now!
