Another class win in Time Attack Round 3 yesterday making it 3 out of 3 for Betty White, and a new PB on radials (and actually outright!) with a 1:16.6 at Mallala. 1st in Club Class, Fastest Subaru in Time Attack for 2011. Next up is taking the car consistently into the 15s

Between the bonnet aero, roof aero, gurney flap and smaller mirrors I can pick 3km/h down our fastest straight - consistently. Best part is it costs 'nothing' to do.....(not much anyway)

surely a gurney flap would add resistance, not decrease it ?

The gurney flap does indeed interrupt the airflow, but it moves the boudary layer seperation point well off the back of the car and eliminates a lot of the hatches turbulent drag wake. It makes downforce - and - speed which is why its such a powerful tool when applied correctly

fair bump, play on. I need the exact same thing on my Landcruiser to stop the rear window getting covered in diesel
